The Compassion Key is a powerful modality for healing hidden traumas, traumas of the past, inner child, everyday issues, and whatever else that is separating us from living the life that we want to live. Self-directed compassion is interactive self care. It does not require anything outside of us; just our attention. You cannot change what you don’t want by not wanting it. We need to listen to our wounds, first, then we heal and change for our own betterment.

The Compassion Key was developed by Edward Mannix after working for a number of years with a hidden master in England who prefers to only be known by her first name, Clare. She gave him a number of the system’s core components, which he added to and further developed in order to create The Compassion Key in its current form. Edward began helping individuals with The Compassion Key in 2009, teaching webinars and group programs in 2013 and Certifying Compassion Key Practitioners in 2015. To date, The Compassion Key has touched tens of thousands of lives around the world.

Coaching is all about forward movement. We start right where you are and map out where you want to go. What I have found to be the biggest hurdle is that most people don’t know how to focus and get clear on what it is that they want in their life. My clients say that coaching has helped them gain the gift of clarity in all areas of their life, creating a powerful vision for their future, and a new found passion for achieving their goals and living a happy and fulfilled life. Having a Coach keeps you accountable, helps you to stay focused, and helps you to develop a strong commitment to your highest self, your goals and a life of meaning and purpose. They say life success is 5% strategy and 95% mindset. Coaching creates the structure for your highest growth, keeps you on task, and helps you to achieve what is most important to you.

I like to say The Compassion Key and Life and Mindset Coaching are a set of tools of a thousand uses. The sky’s the limit! If you can name the issue, Compassion Key and Coaching can help you. We are not just working with the aches and pains of life, we are also working with possibilities. We see what’s working and make it great. What I really love about The Compassion Key and Mindset Coaching is that you learn a simple set of tools that you can use to bring you clarity, a higher way of solving life’s problems and an emotional healing where it is needed. Both modalities give you the power to help yourself.

I offer a free no-obligation session for Life and Mindset Coaching, Compassion Key and Compassion Key Circle Leader facilitation. You won’t be talked into anything or blasted with follow-up emails. If the timing is not right that’s ok – I get to share with you what I love to do with absolutely no obligation. We connect on Zoom or via phone for 30-45 minutes. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about The Compassion Key or Coaching. It would be helpful to come to the call with a topic in mind and we will do a mini session so you can experience, first hand, what this work is all about.

We will talk about session fees. I offer a standard session fee and I also reserve a couple of spots at a sliding scale rate for anyone that is currently experiencing a financial challenge. If you really want to do this work, I want to be accessible to you.


You may like to bring a glass of water and pen and paper for any notes that you would like to jot down.


I can’t promise you a perfect, problem free life, but I can promise you that you will have a better understanding of yourself and others, respond to challenges more often than react, and feel more joyful.

My clients say that they gain the gift of clarity on what’s important in their life and the direction they want their life to go. They feel happier, peaceful, more self aware and confident. They make healthier choices and take inspired action. In essence, they feel good about who they are and who they are becoming, and they have a deep appreciation for themselves, for others and their life.


The purpose of this work is to not keep you as a client forever. It’s like any athlete or musician, you spend time in training with your Coach and you spend time practicing what you’ve learned.

You may have a great number of issues that you want to focus on, which may take a number of sessions to resolve them. I have clients that schedule a couple of times per year as important events arise, and I have clients who schedule one isolated session at a time, and clients that choose to go on a deeper three to six month journey. You will know what’s best for you.

We can’t see our blind spots and there’s just stuff going on in our lives that we can’t reach on our own. We don’t have to wait until life spins out of control before we reach out for help. Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. It’s the first step.
